Pong
The game is a classic two-player table tennis-style game inspired by Pong, where each player controls a paddle positioned on opposite sides of the screen. The main goal is to prevent the ball from getting past your paddle while trying to score by sending it past your opponent's.
The original game has several design flaws that affect the player experience. Most notably, it lacks a clear win condition—there’s no score limit to end the match, which can lead to endless gameplay and reduce player motivation. Additionally, when a point is scored, the ball resets too quickly, not giving players enough time to reposition or prepare, making it feel unfair. Another gameplay issue arises when the paddle is moving vertically during a collision: the ball loses its horizontal speed and drifts vertically at an unusually slow pace, disrupting the game's rhythm and competitiveness.
After addressing these issues, I have create a more visually pleasing and a more balanced, engaging, and enjoyable experience for both players.
